Travel Training
The Access Allegany Travel Trainer Program is available in every community we serve. Travel Trainers will help you to become a successful transit user by providing information and support in one-on-one instructor assistance. Travel Trainers will personally escort you on your initial bus trip (specific routes) through appointment. Travel trainers will help you:
- Plan trips
- Read and understand route maps and schedules
- Get on and off bus properly
- Pay fare and purchase passes
- Transfer to other buses
- Ride specific routes
- Travel independently and confidently when riding the bus
Access Allegany Ambassadors
Members of the community and local business employees have the option to participated in the Travel Training program and becoming an Ambassador for Access Allegany. Ambassadors would act as a point of contact for community members/co-workers with questions regarding the use of Access Allegany.
