Allegany County Transportation Task Force

The Allegany County Transportation Task Force is comprised of representatives from county government, municipal governments, local service agencies, hospitals, elder care facilities, institutions of higher education, adult education programs, workforce investment organizations, private consultants and transit operators. Since the summer of 2007, the Task Force has met monthly to develop and continuously monitor the Allegany County Public Transportation Plan. Members are charged with identifying transportation needs for county residents, assisting with marketing and outreach of ACCESS Allegany services, and educating community members about public transportation as a low-cost, convenient mobility option.
